Andaman Discoveries would like to give a big THANK YOU to Karen Spackman for her hardwork and dedication over her 4 years with our organization! Her journey in Kuraburi began when she booked a volunteer placement at the Kuraburi High School through Andaman Discoveries in 2008. Shortly after, she began to work with Andaman Discoveries as a client and volunteer manager. She brought a ray of sunshine into the office everyday and truly made the guest’s transition to Thailand go more smoothly. We all will miss Karen’s bright personality and fun conversations in the office each day, but are happy to remain close friends in this little corner of Thailand.
Karen has opened a ‘Thai BBQ’ restaurant with her partner in Kuraburi and will manage a resort on the island of Koh Phratong.
