Young at Heart!

Around 30 percent of our visitors and volunteers are over 50 years of age, proving that age, proving that you're never too old to discover new cultures and places! In fact, our oldest guest so far was a mere 73 years young, and volunteered in Ban Talae Nok village. Andaman Discoveries will make it as easy as possible for you to experience a the fascinating culture and environment of the North Andaman region.

We offer a variety of hands-on and ecotourism activities to suit a wide variety of interests and abilities. You can do as much or as little as you like during your time with us.

For the more active, we offer mangrove and orchid conservation; more relaxed options include assisting in a handicraft workshop making handmade soap and batik. All of our older travelers have enjoyed visiting the local school to teach and play with the children, as well as driving a traditional long-tail boat — a first for all!

You'll be accompanied by an English-speaking translator (Thai or English, your choice) to allow to you fully engage with and understand the new and delightful activities and sights around you. Whether your are part of a group or traveling alone, we'll make sure you have everything you need for a great tour.

We can customize your trip to suit your pace and tastes, and can change any tour program (within reason) if there's something you would like to try.
