Andaman Discoveries hosted The University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2008 as part of their Travel Summer Course, Thailand - Sustainable Ecosystems: Natural and Social Science Service Learning with multi-cultural communities on the North Andaman Seacoast. Andaman Discoveries coordinated the month-long program, which introduced and directly involved students in applying social and natural science methods and practices for coastal community planning, management, and conservation in general, and in development contexts.
