Andaman Discoveries is proud to announce that we have be granted official ‘Partner Status’ with Travelife as evidence of the successful completion of the Travelife Partner sustainability management, reporting and compliance obligations for tour operators!
Travelife is a training, management and certification initiative for tourism companies committed to reach sustainability. (http://www.travelife.info/) Last year Nicole had completed the ‘Sustainability for Tour Operators’ training provided by CBI Netherlands, WildAsia and ABTA the UK’s leading travel association. Here she was encouraged to document and test the sustainability of Andaman Discoveries business operations and also learned how to offset those things that are not sustainable. Since the training AD has been actively working on communicating its commitment to sustainability and creating new procedures to incorporate sustainability into every aspect of its business model.
